This session provides an opportunity to learn more about how funders can use participatory grantmaking to support future thinking

We are seeing growing interest in foresight practice within the funding sector but what is it? Why is it important? And how does it link with participatory grantmaking? It is vital that we provide the resources, skills and support for communities to be able to imagine and deliver more equitable and sustainable futures.

This session provides an introduction to the concepts as well as profiling some organisations that are funding emergent practice through participatory methods. We’ll be joined by speakers from Teach The Future and a collection of participatory funders who are funding emergent and future practice.
