The Data We Collect About You and How?

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about a person which might identify them.

You may give us your identity and/or contact information by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you submit an enquiry, give us feedback and sign up to the Community of Practice.

As you interact with our website, we may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies and other similar technologies.

What we will use your personal data for

We use your personal data to respond to your queries. We may also email you following your enquiry to make sure we’ve answered your question.

If you choose to sign up to the Community we will use your data to add you to the slack group and the email distribution list. Using the slack group and mailing list means that others within the community can see your name and contact details.

If you sign up to events, the organiser may send follow up emails. If you join an online meeting with your name and camera on, then others in the meeting will be able to see your name and picture. Some of these meetings will be recorded and shared online. If meetings are recorded, you will be given notice before the recording starts.

We might ask for further information from you at a later point to understand the community better and to help us better support your needs. This will be opt-in and we will always seek your consent to collect and use this information.
